WHY I CHOOSE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
At first, I didn’t really plan on taking IT. It wasn’t my first choice, and to be honest, I wasn’t even sure if it was the right path for me. I just went with it because of practical reasons—good career opportunities, a growing industry, and the fact that technology is everywhere. But as time passed, I started to enjoy it more than I expected.
What really changed my perspective was getting hands-on experience. The more I learned about coding, networking, and system management, the more I realized how interesting and challenging it was. I used to think IT was just about fixing computers, but I soon discovered it’s much more than that. It’s about problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. I found myself enjoying the process of troubleshooting errors, learning how software works, and even building simple programs.
What once felt like just a course I had to take slowly became something I wanted to pursue. The excitement of solving technical problems, the satisfaction of making a program run successfully, and the endless possibilities in the field made me appreciate IT more. I started exploring beyond the classroom—watching tutorials, trying out small coding projects, and diving deeper into tech-related topics.
Now, I can say that I genuinely enjoy IT, and I want to get better at it. It’s a field that constantly evolves, meaning there’s always something new to learn. I like the idea of being part of a world where technology shapes the future, and I want to contribute to that in my own way. What started as just a course I had no choice but to take has turned into something I’m passionate about, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
